Challenges

  1.  Identify the use cases for which data documentation tool can bring tangible value
  2.  Deploy the tool on 3 selected use cases, organize trainings, workshops and meet ups to foster change
  3.  Promote the adoption of the tool by highlighting entertaining and collaborative features

Approach

We identified strategic use cases and prioritized them by value and use. We took the data  consumers on board during the workshops, taking care to perfectly meet their needs and designing data stories to make data governance live and entertaining.

 

Result

3 use cases deployed and 30 Collibra champions formed internally in 4 months.

Six data owners were designated, trained and are now responsible for the documentation of their data perimeter.
