Our office is based in Creative Valley Utrecht, right next to Utrecht Central Station. The full team currently consists of 80 ambitious, diverse, and kind people and as a Marketing Lead you will be working closely with each of the teams. 

About you

We’re looking for a dynamic and independent person with a background in B2B marketing to join our office in Utrecht. You’ll also be working closely with the rest of the Artefact’s worldwide Marketing team, that’s why fluently speaking in Dutch and English is required. 

About the role 

As a Marketing Lead at Artefact, you contribute to the business by engaging with prospects and converting them into clients to generate sales. You do so by working closely with the partners, department heads, and consultant teams, as well as by creating online campaigns to drive engagement. We do this through demand- and lead generation campaigns: from in-house & external events, award applications, and overseeing thought-leading articles, to LinkedIn & PPC campaigns, and social advertising. 


Your Responsibilities

Social Media Management: you develop lead generation strategies on LinkedIn and manage our employer branding strategy on Instagram. 

Digital Advertising: you manage Google Ads and LinkedIn campaigns (organic and paid) to achieve objectives in awareness & lead generation, and enhance visibility of top partners across social media and online channels.

Website Management: you maintain and update website content, blog articles, event pages, client cases, and conduct regular quality checks to ensure seamless UX, consistency, and SEO optimization.   

Events & Webinars: 

  • You plan and implement event strategies, including webinars, business breakfasts, podcasts, and participation in trade fairs and conferences.
  • You Ensure effective multi-channel promotion of events through our website, landing pages, email series, and social media platforms (LinkedIn and Twitter).

Marketing Planning and Coordination:

  • You define and implement the annual marketing plan in collaboration with senior management.
  • You manage budget allocation and expenditures, and work as a business partner to tailor campaigns and content to client needs with Client Leads and Directors.

Brand Content Production:

  • You collaborate with senior management to identify relevant business topics and key speakers/writers
  • You assist in refining content, graphics, presentations, and RFPs with support from copywriters and graphic designers.

PR & Awards:

  • You define strategies for relevant award shows and support teams in writing award submissions.
  • You identify key PR topics and distribute messages through relevant channels and platforms.

CRM & Marketing Automation: 

  • You utilise Pardot to create and launch email, newsletter, and landing page campaigns to drive customer acquisition.
  • You qualify and assign prospects to Lead Managers based on international criteria.


Skills & Requirements

You are an enthusiastic and proactive young professional, excited to join our fast-paced team in Utrecht. You are a confident communicator with a passion for lead generation and a genuine interest in the tech industry and marketing. 

  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and verbal.
  • Preferably experienced in B2B marketing management (apprenticeship or first working experience).
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficient in CRM and Marketing Automation systems like Salesforce.
  • LinkedIn expertise in organic and paid campaigns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting, editing, and presentation, and ability to easily interact with colleagues.
  • A team player, able to collaborate and communicate effectively with other marketing professionals around the world.
