Hij studeerde aan het ICAM (Institut Catholique d'Arts et M\u00e9tiers) in Lille, waar hij zijn technische expertise ontwikkelde. In 1999 richtte hij OVH op, dat is uitgegroeid tot een van Europa's grootste cloud computerbedrijven met talloze data centra wereldwijd. is gewoon de volgende generatie van wat er gedaan kan worden met computers en data. Vandaag de dag zijn er vier dingen nodig om AI de OVHcloud te laten werken. De hardware (GPU's), mensen die gekwalificeerd zijn om de algoritmen te laten werken - dat is het derde element - en tot slot hebt u data nodig. En deze vier dingen moeten met elkaar verbonden zijn om zinvol te zijn. De eerste heeft te maken met de data opslag en hoe de data fysiek gekraakt moet worden. Vooral dit probleem moet worden opgelost voordat met het volgende niveau van de opleiding kan worden begonnen. Dit leidde tot een andere uitdaging: de ecologische. Het aantal data centra dat nodig is om de data op te slaan, heeft invloed op het energieverbruik. Een andere uitdaging heeft meer te maken met de data gebruiksrechten: waar komt de data vandaan? Heeft u het recht om het te gebruiken? U moet dus een visie hebben voor 3 tot 4 jaar vooruit, en bedenken wanneer de hardware waarin u hebt ge\u00efnvesteerd verouderd zal zijn en welke investeringen dat met zich mee zal brengen. Maar het belangrijkste gaat over de klanten. Men moet zich afvragen waarom een consument AI gebruikt. Het antwoord is vaak om kosten te besparen.
