Het vertrouwen in generatieve AI kan laag blijven vanwege enkele huidige beperkingen en mogelijke gevolgen voor het milieu. Maar net als alle andere technologie\u00ebn is AI een hulpmiddel dat ten goede of ten kwade kan worden gebruikt. Het kan schadelijke activiteiten bevorderen, zoals olieboringen en het maken van verslavende producten, of het kan de economie van het leven ondersteunen, waaronder gezondheid, onderwijs, hernieuwbare energie, duurzame landbouw, recycling en meer. Recente hervormingen die jonge meisjes ervan weerhouden om voor een carri\u00e8re als ingenieur te kiezen, zijn alarmerend en moeten worden teruggedraaid. Het verlies van deze talentenpool zal het AI-veld in de toekomst verzwakken.
