Omdat deze AI-assistenten gebaseerd zijn op basismodellen die getraind zijn op openbaar beschikbare informatie, leggen ze onbedoeld ook de vele maatschappelijke vooroordelen vast die nog steeds in onze wereld bestaan. Deze vooroordelen zijn vaak onbewust en kunnen uitgroeien tot microagressies (discriminatie op basis van onder andere geslacht, etniciteit, seksuele geaardheid, neurodiversiteit of religie) die aanzienlijke schade kunnen toebrengen aan individuen.<\/p>\n<p>Bij Artefact geloven we dat het mogelijk is om een ethische laag te bouwen met behulp van open-source LLM's die zou voorkomen dat AI-assistenten inhoud genereren die bevooroordeeld is ten opzichte van individuen.
