Join us for an evening of inspiring talks, networking, and tech insights at the Artefact Hamburg office. We’ll kick off with a deep dive into scaling RAG applications with Priya Sarkar, followed by an exploration of interactive robotics and public learning with Dr. Ing. Alireza Abbasimoshaei. Alongside the talks, enjoy networking opportunities, food, and engaging discussions with fellow data and AI enthusiasts.
In the session, we will cover:
1. Taking a RAG application to 10k users: Lessons from exciting tech and meaningful impact by Priya Sarkar
Abstract: RAG promises a lot but what really limits its potential in practice? In this talk, I will present the pain points we uncovered from gaps in accuracy to user experience. I’ll walk through how we tackled these challenges, not just with technical fixes but by focusing on building user trust and aligning with real business value.
2. From Medical Robotics to Public Innovation: Data-Driven Learning with VRobotia by Dr. Ing. Alireza Abbasimoshaei
Abstract: How do we transform complex medical robotics and haptics research into engaging public learning experiences? Drawing from our work in rehabilitation robotics with bio-impedance measurements and machine learning applications, this talk reveals how we built VRobotia’s data pipeline—from capturing real-time user interactions to analyzing engagement metrics across 2,000+ participants. We’ll share how this data-driven approach helps us bridge the gap between advanced technology and public education through interactive robotics and VR experiences.
