Modern careers no longer follow a straight line. Ambition, leadership, and success now evolve alongside life realities, non-linear paths, and broader definitions of impact, while AI continues to reshape how organizations understand talent, skills, and potential. Women, in particular, navigate careers shaped by transitions, pauses, reinvention, and multiple identities. Yet many organizational systems and leadership models still rely on outdated, linear frameworks, failing to reflect both human complexity and the responsible use of AI.

At Artefact, we believe leadership, data, and innovation must be human-centered. In celebration of International Women’s Day, we are hosting a special edition of Women@Artefact Afterwork, bringing this global initiative to the Netherlands for the first time. This event is open to everyone, including male allies, because inclusive leadership and forward-looking careers benefit from diverse perspectives.

The session will feature Berber Rienks, Artefact’s newly appointed Partner in Northern Europe, alongside Fleur van Beem (ex-Executive Team at VodafoneZiggo, ex-Bain) and Ariane Bonke (Head of Information Management, Security & Compliance at KPN). Together, they will share real-world experiences, actionable strategies, and lessons learned, illustrating how AI can support inclusive, human-centered leadership and talent practices.

What we’ll cover during the session

  • Building inclusive leadership: Support diverse talent and equitable career growth.

  • AI in action for HR and leadership: Learn from concrete use cases, including internal mobility, talent identification, skills mapping, and workforce planning.

  • Rethinking career paths: Navigate non-linear careers and redefine success beyond traditional ladders.
  • Soft skills & resilience: Strengthen confidence, adaptability, and emotional intelligence to thrive in dynamic environments.

  • Branding, visibility & sponsorship: Strategically position yourself and others to create influence and thought leadership.

  • Organizational systems for growth: Understand and leverage structures to sustain long-term impact.
