Artefact, global leader in data and AI consulting services, is pleased to announce the addition of three accomplished professionals, Carolin Puppel, Guillaume Chrun, and Fernando Spinelli.

We are welcoming one new partner to our Germany office:

Carolin Puppel joins us with over 20 years of international expertise spanning top-tier consulting, corporate strategy, and entrepreneurship. She brings a truly global perspective to our AI transformation practice, having lived and worked across Europe, Brazil, and Australia. Her impressive track record includes over a decade at McKinsey and Accenture advising global FMCG and retail giants, executive roles at Wayfair with full P&L responsibility, and building her own venture in Brazil. Most recently, she built the AI executive education portfolio at ESMT Berlin, guiding over 200 senior professionals through AI strategy, scaling, and governance. Carolin is uniquely positioned to help our clients move beyond AI pilots by aligning data foundations, operating models, and organizational strategy.

“AI will only scale as far as organizations are ready to evolve. I’m excited to join Artefact at a moment where translating strategy into execution truly matters,” explains Carolin.

We also have one new partner joining Artefact France:

Guillaume Chrun joins as a Partner, strengthening our expertise in the Financial Services sector, bringing 25 years of experience in strategy consulting. Having worked at Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger, and Accenture, he has advised leading financial institutions across France, Europe, the US, Africa, and the Middle East. His deep expertise spans corporate strategy, large-scale transformation, operational excellence, and post-merger integration. Guillaume, who holds engineering degrees from McGill University and ESCP Business School, will focus on supporting financial institutions as they adopt, scale, and deliver tangible business value from AI.

“I’m thrilled to join Artefact at such an exciting time for AI. Financial institutions are entering a new phase where the challenge is no longer experimentation but scaling AI and turning it into tangible business value,” says Guillaume.

And finally, we are also welcoming one new partner to the LatAm region:

Fernando Spinelli brings a unique combination of experience across strategy consulting, executive roles in retail, and data expertise as a Chief Data Officer, which allows him to bridge business strategy with data and AI transformation to generate sustainable client impact. Before joining Artefact, Fernando spent 8.5 years at Bain & Company working across multiple geographies, and brought eight years of executive retail experience from his time at Casas Bahia, where he helped lead a fintech acquisition and the creation of a digital bank. Later, at RD Saúde, he served as Chief Data Officer, leading data strategy, governance, advanced analytics, and expanding AI use cases. Fernando joins Artefact to help strengthen our capabilities in Retail, Data & AI transformation, combining strategic vision with hands-on experience in building data-driven organizations.

Fernando declares: “I am delighted to join Artefact and look forward to supporting organizations in designing and delivering high-impact Data & AI strategies in this complex and fast-changing environment.”
