We seek a skilled and experienced Finance professional to join our team in Jakarta. They will be responsible for the finance operations across South East Officxe (Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia Office)
Finance & P&L Ownership
- Take full ownership of the administration of the Profit & Loss reporting across the Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia entities and other financial reports
- Manage day-to-day finance operations, including project accounting, timesheets, client billings, intercompany billing across the regional entities and vendor payments
- Own working capital management with a focus on optimizing cash flow, liquidity, and funding requirements
- Oversee the end-to-end client invoicing process, ensuring timely and accurate billing in accordance with contractual terms and project milestones
- Monitor Accounts Receivable aging and partner with client facing teams to improve Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and accelerate cash conversion cycles
- Review client contracts and commercial terms to ensure appropriate billing structures, payment milestones, retention clauses, and collection mechanisms are in place
- Monitor Accounts Payable and supplier payment cycles to optimize cash utilization while maintaining strong vendor relationships
- Collaborate with regional business leaders to improve cash discipline, contract profitability, and overall financial performance
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely submission
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes by providing financial insights
- Coordinate with banks to effectively manage existing bank accounts or open new ones.
- Provide audit support and ensure financial reporting is accurate, timely and compliant with local and group standardsTax & Regulatory Compliance
- Manage compliance across tax and corporate regulations, employment contract structures (temporary vs. permanent), and transfer pricing.
- Coordinate closely with the company's retained legal and tax agencies to ensure full regulatory compliance in each jurisdiction.Stay ahead of changes in local tax, corporate affairs and labour regulations across the three markets.Change Management & Operational Leadership
- Drive continuous improvement of financial systems, processes, and controls across regional entities.
- Act as a trusted finance partner to regional and global leadership on strategic and operational decisions.
- 8-10 years of finance, tax and compliance experience.
- Professional services background at a similar advisory/consulting firm with direct exposure to project accounting, timesheets and intercompany billing.
- Demonstrated experience managing finance, tax and corporate affairs across multiple Southeast Asian jurisdictions (Indonesia, Singapore and/or Malaysia).
- Strong working knowledge of tax and corporate regulations, employment contract compliance and transfer pricing.
- A track record of proactive change management
- Comfortable working independently and coordinating with external legal and tax advisors.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs) and financial software/tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate with finance leadership to improve processes.
