Role & Responsibilities
As a Web Analytics Consultant you will be conducting leading projects in the transformation of our clients’ businesses through the effective collection, processing and activation of data from websites and apps. You will be working in close collaboration with the other divisions (Media & Activation, Creation, Consultancy, Data Science and Technology) to provide comprehensive services to our clients.

We are currently working on some exciting projects for large scale clients. This means that you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and make a real impact. Furthermore, we’re one of the leading partners of Google, which gives us access to the latest research and insights in Google products and allows us to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in the field.

As a Senior Web Analytics Consultant you will ensure quality and continuity of the full range of Web Analytics services while actively contributing to the expertise level and competencies of the team. Among your responsibilities will be the execution of our web and app analytics projects, ensuring timely delivery, which includes:

Analytics and Media Implementation

  • Implementing and managing tag management systems, the data layer, marketing tagging and custom scripting
  • Performing audits, reviews and creating best-practice analytics setups
  • Media tagging and conversion support
  • Develop solution design, documentation and create developer guidelines

Data Collection & Enrichment

  • Establish and maintain data collection pipelines (web, apps, offline, pos) using best-practice methodologies to enhance data accuracy and reliability
  • Best practice Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics and Firebase implementations
  • Lighter coding (JavaScript, Python, SQL, R)
  • Data aggregation and channel attribution

Data Visualisation and Storytelling

  • Dashboarding (Data Studio, PowerBi, Tableau)
  • Basic and advanced reporting
  • Presentations and consulting work

We expect you to stay up to date on developments within the industry, to share best practices and contribute to Artefact’s institutional knowledge.

Your Profile

  • Academic level of education (Bachelor or Master)
  • A minimum of 3 year of work experience in a data-driven working environment
  • Proven client and project management skills and experience
  • Verifiable knowledge and experience of web analytics platforms like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Piwik Pro, Piano Analytics, etc.
  • Experience with implementing app measurement is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with tag management systems like Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch, Tealium iQ, Ensighten etc.
  • Familiarity with website optimization tools like Optimizely, Convert, AB Tasty etc
  • Optionally, familiarity with Data Management Platforms like Segment, BlueKai, Adobe Audience Manager, Tealium Audience Stream, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of web-related technologies (JavaScript, CSS and HTML) and database techniques (REST-APIs, SQL, No-SQL)
  • Knowledge of data processing and data modelling algorithms and techniques would be an advantage
  • Fluency in English is a must, preferably also Dutch
