Nissan

Based in Japan, Maciej is the current global lead for data science and machine learning platforms for Nissan customer experience. He is responsible for building customer experience data platforms, data science and ML experiments and data governance and compliance. He is an experienced data and analytics transformation leader; with extensive experience in technology enablement. Maciej holds degrees from Poznan University and UaM.

Dr. Kjell Carlsson

Dr. Kjell Carlsson, Head of Data Science Strategy & Evangelism

Domino Data Lab

Dr. Kjell Carlsson is the head of data science strategy and evangelism at Domino Data Lab where he advises organizations on how to drive business outcomes with artificial intelligence (AI) and data science. Previously, he covered AI, ML, and data science as a Principal Analyst at Forrester Research where he wrote reports on topics ranging from computer vision, MLOps, AutoML, and conversation intelligence to augmented intelligence, next-generation AI technologies, and data science best practices. He has spoken in countless keynotes, panels, and webinars, and is frequently quoted in the media. He is also the new host of the Data Science Leaders podcast. Carlsson received his Ph.D. in Business Economics from the Harvard Business School.

Pascal Coggia, CEO of Artefact UK and Managing Partner

Pascal Coggia is CEO of Artefact UK where he is responsible for expanding the company’s artificial intelligence (AI) and data-driven products and services in the region. A founding partner at Artefact, he was previously based at its headquarters in Paris,
during which time he launched the company’s operations in Dubai. Previous positions include consulting roles at AT Kearney and Columbus Consulting Shift in France, as well as Rocket Internet SE in the UK. He has a masters degree from the HEC Business
School in Paris.

Athena Sharma

Athena Sharma, Senior Director

Athena is a senior director at Artefact and the UKI Financial Services Lead, with a wealth of experience in data and AI strategy and transformation. She has a strong track record of advising leading UK commercial and retail banking clients on strategy and transformation projects, as well as working with private equity clients to transform and enhance portfolio synergies using data.
