BERLIN, GERMANY – July 2026
Artefact, a leading global consulting firm dedicated to accelerating the adoption of data and AI, today announced the new address of its Berlin office, now located at the Delta Campus. Situated in Neukölln, the Delta Campus is a highly innovative district known as Berlin’s home for startups and founders.
This relocation is designed to further accelerate Artefact’s momentum and its 2030 strategy: to become the leading provider of data and AI consulting services to German corporations. Artefact has maintained a strong presence in Berlin since its strategic acquisition of Explorate AI. Founded in Berlin in 2019, Explorate AI is a specialized provider of tailored AI training programs, consulting, and implementation services that trains over 5,000 professionals annually across its client base. Moving to the new Delta Campus address builds upon this integration, offering an inspiring new hub for the team to better serve both local and global clients.
Felix Wendler, Director at Artefact and ex-Managing Director of Explorate AI, commented on the integration: “At Explorate AI, we’ve always believed that successful AI adoption starts with people, having trained thousands of professionals to embrace a data-driven future. Joining forces with Artefact allows us to take this mission to the next level. This new Berlin office is more than just an expansion; it’s a commitment to providing German enterprises with the local proximity, localized expertise, and global delivery power they need to successfully scale their AI and automation initiatives.”
To further champion this regional momentum, Artefact has recently welcomed Carolin Puppel as a new Partner to the German office. Bringing over 20 years of international expertise spanning top-tier consulting, corporate strategy, and entrepreneurship, she previously built the AI executive education portfolio at ESMT Berlin. Carolin is uniquely positioned to help clients move beyond AI pilots by aligning data foundations, operating models, and organizational strategy.
“AI will only scale as far as organizations are ready to evolve. I’m excited to join Artefact at a moment where translating strategy into execution truly matters,” explains Carolin.
This evolution in Berlin is championed by Partner Niels Thomsen, who joined the firm over a year ago to accelerate its strategic growth. With its expanded footprint in Berlin, alongside offices in Munich, Hamburg, and Essen, Artefact is strategically positioned across the four cardinal points of Germany to support clients throughout the country.
Reflecting on Artefact’s business objectives in the region and his long-term vision, Niels Thomsen adds: “Our objective is to establish Artefact as Germany’s definitive leader in end-to-end data and AI transformation. We envision a future where businesses across the country democratize access to data and AI, embedding intelligent systems into their daily operations to drive sustainable growth and agility. By focusing on practical, scalable business applications, through AI Factories and industrialized deployment frameworks, we are helping enterprises in strategic sectors like manufacturing, logistics, and consumer goods turn complex technologies into measurable commercial value. Ultimately, true progress happens when we remember that the most successful transformations occur when technology empowers people rather than overshadows them.”
This address change reflects Artefact’s dedication to remaining closer to our clients across Germany and cementing our position as a major actor within the AI ecosystem. This strategic engagement was highlighted throughout a highly active month, starting with an exclusive conference on June 1st at the prestigious Journalistenclub in Berlin, and our presence on stage at the Accelerate Tomorrow AI Summit at Estrel Berlin on June 2nd and 3rd.

We were then thrilled to officially inaugurate our new Delta Campus office on June 24th, where attendees engaged in open discussions regarding Artefact’s deep AI expertise and strategic ambitions for the future. By fostering these direct connections, we continue to bridge the gap between visionary AI capabilities and practical business applications. Stay tuned for updates on our coming events and conferences!
