Agency moves to Germany’s largest urban area after 20 years in Duisburg
Artefact DACH has relocated its office in the Ruhr region to Essen, the second-largest city of the Ruhr and Germany’s largest urban area, to fulfil its ambitious growth plans.

The agency’s move to the city, which was named Europe’s 2010 Capital of Culture, comes after 20 years in nearby Duisburg and is driven by the company’s desire to develop its growing roster of clients. Artefact DACH also has offices in Hamburg.

Since announcing its DACH leadership team of Stephanie Fischer and Hannes Weissensteiner in January 2020, Artefact DACH has enjoyed great success, growing the business, and winning clients such as German airline Eurowings, Targobank, and DANONE.

Demonstrating its growing maturity in the market, in December 2020 the agency also named ex-Unilever board member Harald Melwisch as a senior advisor tasked with supporting Artefact’s growth ambitions.

“Today marks a milestone in Artefact DACH’s history as we continue growing into a leading provider of data-driven services. In recent years, we have developed our capabilities in digital consulting and digital marketing, and we are now competing against some of the best consultancies out there. Moving to Essen will help us deliver a working environment like our Hamburg office that fits market and talent needs. In our new location, we will continue delivering best-in-class data consulting and data marketing solutions that deliver real results for their businesses.”
Said Hannes Weissensteiner, Managing Partner, about the move to Essen :
